In this scenario, a criminal tells me Yeah, I've killed a lot of people, I own it. I'm a murderer & a con-man, but I look out for the little guy. All those bloodsuckers at the top who don't care about the poor & the sick, I make them work for me. I own this city and I make sure they take better care of the people who need the help. Leave them to their own devices & they'll go right back to not giving a damn about anybody but themselves. Go ahead, throw me in jail, see what happens to this city without me.” Me being the detective on the case, i’m going to take everything into consideration. That being, determining whether this guy can continue to make the city a better place or where he is just going to make things worst. As the head detective on this case whatever decision i choose my job could be on the line so i look at all the facts before I make my decision. I could consider my situation in many different ways but all though these three ways are all different they all end the same. Utilitarian is the moral theory that the motive behind all actions should be to do what would provide the best result, pleasure, and/ or happiness for the most people. So if i were to think like them I would say, although this man has done a lot of good for the city and people in the city I would still feel obligated to arrest him. I say that because even though he does do good

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
