Question Your answer In this class activity, you will install an instance of the 180- day Evaluation Version Windows Server 2016 (we will call this operating system Win2016 for most of the time) as a VirtualBox Virtual Machine. This version of Win2016 can be used for 180 days and it will be rebooted every hour. You need to have the iso file of the Win2016 Installation DVD to install it as the virtual machine. Start VirtualBox and define a storage location for the virtual machine by selecting “File” from the top menu of the “Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager” screen » Preferences » Define a folder such as “DriveLetter:\VirtualBox VMs” as the default machine folder » OK » Click the blue colour “New” button to start a create a new virtual machine » Select “Microsoft Windows” as the “Type” » Click the dropdown button next to “Version” and Open the Networking section for virtual machine and enable Adapter 1 and select Host-only Adapter: and select a host-only adapter from the drop down list. Now host-only networking has been setup and this virtual machine should be on the network attached to this adapter.
