2 “Integrity versus despair is the eighth and final stage of Erik Erikson’s stage theory of psychosocial development. This stage begins at approximately age 65 and ends at death.” (Cherry, 2019). A time where most of us dream about relaxing, enjoying family, and having little to no responsibilities. I interviewed a co-worker by the name of Ms. Susan. After sitting down and talking to her, I gained useful information giving me insight into this age group. Who is Susan? Born September 15, 1950, Susan is the oldest of five siblings. She was raised in Montreal, Canada, and would later move to the United States with her parents at the age of 17 and 11 months. Ms. Susan’s family moved to California, where she settled. Ms. Susan met her first husband and married at the age of 23. The union lasted five years and ended in divorce. Ms. Susan met her current husband Les of 35 years at The Cowboy Country Club in Anaheim, Ca., dancing the two-step as they fell in love. Ms. Susan reports giving birth two both her boys during her first marriage and a daughter with her second husband. Ms. Susan says she worked many jobs before settling down with her current position. The Interview I sat down with Ms. Suzan at work during our lunchtime to interview her. The answers she supplied helped me to understand how she feels at her current state of life. Ms. Suzan is a charming, beautiful woman who loves God and has a heart of gold. She is well-loved and respected. The interview was rough at times as she would get frustrated over not remembering some details of her life. Today Ms. Suzan likes to keep it simple.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
