CER Introduction: Death on the Stairway Innocent: Guilty: 1. I: If Margaret killed Charles, she would not bring a few friends over to her house. 2. I: If Margaret told her friends to follow her, then she wouldn’t know what time her friends would arrive and her friends might’ve caught her killing Charles. So this shows that Margaret wouldn’t take the risk of being caught, so she wouldn’t kill Charles. 3. I: Margaret had an argument with Charles, so she left, so the man might of killed himself or had someone else over and the visitor might of killed him. 4. I: In the information given, it shows Margaret only being 110 pounds. She seems way too light to have the strength to carry Charles anywhere. 5. E: Margaret’s attire seems like she just came back from a party or club. 6. I: Charles might of slipped because he was drunk. 7. I: The autopsy mentioned that Charles’s BAC was 1.08, legally drunk. 1. E: The pants Charles was wearing did not seem to be wrinkled or pulled up like what it would be like if someone actually fell from the stairs, so this means that Margaret might of placed the body there. 2. E: If Charles fell from the stairs, he would not be holding the glass cup because as a human instinct, a human being would release anything in their hands to save themselves from getting hurt.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
