Executive Summary Many graduates remain jobless even after completing their education programs. The job market remains competitive, and high-quality skills, capabilities, and attributes are needed. Most employers find it challenging to employ fresh graduates, for they fear they are not well equipped. Job experience has remained the primary aspect of job qualification. This report overseas the skills, capabilities, and attributes that employers seek in graduates. The skills are identified and well discussed with conclusions and recommendations drawn from them. The report is written for those students undertaking commerce degrees and then presented to Sylvia Ariel, who is their class representative.

1.0 Introduction Graduates need to know what qualifications will fit them in the job market. They ought to choose their career path wisely to avoid regretting in the future. After choosing their career, they also need to know what employers look for beyond qualifications. Naturally, the skills, capabilities, and attributes required vary from job to job and from industry to industry. Besides, across the board, others are valued by all employers. Among the job requirements, others can be measured through testing through aptitude tests or personality, which are typical for graduate interviews. However, others are measured through competency-based questions.
