The conductivity values were 12,990 for .1M of sodium chloride and 670 for .1M of acetic acid. Because sodium chloride is a strong electrolyte, it makes sense that it has a higher conductivity value than acetic acid, which is a weak electrolyte. The reason for this is because of the strength of their electrolytes which correlates to their conduction strength. Strong electrolytes are good conductors of electricity and weak electrolytes are weak conductors of electricity. 4. Using conclusions and data from this experiment, the more ions in a solution, the greater the conductivity.
