The fall is an INTERGRAL PART OF HEAVENLY FATHER’S PLAN Why did God never just force Adam and Eve to start in an impure world. 1) God can’t make something unclean. 2) God will not take away their agency and force them to leave unless they broke a commandment. The Fall was not a Sin, but a Transgression. Augustine (354 – 430) – Original Sin (Original Sin refers to: Sin of Our Origin) and is made up of: - The fall changed human nature - Not capable of true good. - We are not sinners because we sin; we sin because we are sinners. - We cannot choose salvation. Concupiscence (not required to remember this word) – Essentially a word for worldliness. In the restored gospel: We are sinners because we sin. J. I.
