1. Does the total rewards system offered to you in your current employment situation motivate you to want to stay with the firm - work hard for the firm - etc.? You don't have to identify the specific numbers. Think of this as a way of analyzing yourself - does your employment compensation situation meet the overall goal of attract/retain/motivate workers? If not, what would do so? The total rewards system offered at my previous employment was that they would eventually pay for employers to go back to school and get their masters if they stayed with the company while in school. There was an application process for this. Other total rewards were working overtime and being paid time and half. Providing lunches to employers on a weekly basis. Going out to eat at a restaurant once a month while at work. Yes, the employment compensation situation did meet the overall goal to motivate and attract as well as keep employees. When we were treated right at work and appreciated for our time and efforts then we were all happily employed with the company. 2. Using the Bureau of Labor Statistics website at bls.gov, a website that provides salary information on a wide variety of jobs. Use the Search Box to type in your ideal job and research salary information. You may want to use the job used on O*NET back in chapter 4. What is the median salary for the job you search? What is the lowest salary you would be willing to accept

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
