Church Born Opinions By: Joshua Gomez. History always repeats itself. It’s inevitable. We all think of events, or history as caused by the people living in it. We believe human beings are mad enough to create their own demise. We believe that although we recognize the damage something can do, we still decide to use it. I could believe people are all horrible evil creatures of bone and meat, but why? If I’m only here once as myself, why live in disdain? I’ve decided to believe all people are good, and if something is causing them to do wrong, that something has blinded them, and counteracts their good nature. Regardless of this, bad things happen, and will continue to forever. No matter what you believe, we humans recreate our sorrow, for reasons we don’t know, and likely never will. Therefore, history repeats itself because of this unknown impulse to revert to this robotic cycle of bringing hell to the surface. This isn’t the popular opinion, believe it or not. (when have I ever favored the popular opinion anyway). Since I believe all people are good, events in history, and people thought to be “bad”, only serve a greater purpose. I believe history is above humans. History is godly. It cannot be changed or experimented on, it can only be studied. It serves as humanity’s attempt

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
