Engaged Social Media Plan & Presentation MKTG 3680, Section 601, Social Media Marketing (Hybrid), Fall 2019 Throughout the semester your group will work together to create an Engaged Social Media Plan for a real client or company. You will turn this plan into a paper as well as a 25-minute in-class presentation. Both the plan and paper are due Sunday, November 24th at 11:59 pm. PLAN WRITING GUIDELINES Your social media plan should follow professional business writing style, including: 1” margins Single-spaced text A title page Section headers A legible and professional font Page numbers Please remember to proofread your final document well to ensure that it has: Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling A good flow A clear, unified voice PLAN SECTIONS (PLEASE PUT ALL SECTIONS TOGETHER INTO ONE PAPER) TITLE PAGE (5 points) Create a title page with the company's logo and branding. Please add your names, date, and class information to the title page. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (1 page) (15 points) After you have written your entire Engaged Social Media Plan, please summarize the main ideas in a one-page executive summary that highlights your main findings and recommendations for the company.

MARKET RESEARCH (1 page) (10 points) Begin your paper with the header MARKET RESEARCH . In this section of the paper explain the company’s product or service. Explain the market size for the product or service, and where the company can find social communities and followers who may be interested in purchasing the product or service. COMPETITION (2 pages) (20 points) The next section of the paper begins with a header called COMPETITION . Include a section about the company's competitors, and discuss how the competitors are using social media to engage and sell to the same group of customers. Think about what the competition is selling, and how it is better or worse than what your company is selling. What makes your company different from the competition? In what areas is your company ahead? In what areas is your competitor ahead? Create a chart that highlights the competition and how your engaged client compares to the competition. In the chart, include items like the 4Ps. SOCIAL MEDIA AUDIT (1 page) (10 points) You will examine the social media presence of the company and its competitors. Please create a chart that explains how many followers, likes, comments, and shares your company and the competition have on different social media platforms. Then do a written analysis of the audit. Please include an analysis of your company and the competitions’ post frequency and content style. Lastly, create a list of 3-5 keywords that you will use in your posts or for possible hashtags. TARGET MARKET (2 pages) (20 points) Define your target market by name and in terms of demographics, psychographics, and social media behaviors. Include a picture and name your target market. Where does your target market find information through their social networks? Do they have a preferred time that they engage in social media? Do they prefer one platform over
