Students are responsible for the entire work, even though class coverage will be selective. Part III Core Asian Systems, Chapters 5-9 will be thoroughly discussed in class [North Korea, China and Southeast Asia, Taiwan and South Korea, Japan and Thailand]. Supplementary readings including those pertinent to the midterm and final exam will be indicated at the appropriate time. There is no rigid schedule. It will unfold in the fullness of time.
