Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats The ability to continue the task until completion. Timeline and deadline driven. Loyal to a fault. My academic background makes me excel at written and spoken word, along with mathematical abilities. The military experience gives me uncanny leadership and problem-solving skills. I make plan A, B, C, usually through to ZZ. Chance favors the prepared mind. Can become target locked. Can get impatient with those that do not carry their load. I don’t “sugar coat” anything, overly direct and to the point. I believe 15 minutes early is on time. If an appointment is at 0900, arrive at 0845, appt at 0900, completed by 0915. My expectations and standards tend to be considered a bit high. Tend to be sarcastic. Only see black and white, never grey. Completing this degree. Having to start at the bottom again, might be difficult to adjust to being on the bottom of the totem pole again. Has been a long time since I have been in the civilian workforce. The columns for strengths and weaknesses are atypical of my INTJ personality. The most difficult part of this assignment was coming up with an equal, or close to equal, amount of strengths. I still have a problem saying positive things about myself, makes me feel like a braggart. In 5, 10, 15, 19 years, I hope to be working for either Homeland, the FBI, or the CIA. In 20 years I hope to be drawing my third retirement before 70 years old. During this time, I hope to be freelancing as allowed for extra money to become debt free by the age of 60. Only drawback, when I go to apply I will be knocking on the door of 50 years old. I know in my desired field, Cybersecurity, there is no real age factor, but people tend to stereotype people over 50 even though its said 50 is the new 25....
