Black Guerilla Family The Black Guerilla Family was founded at San Quentin State Prison in 1966, by George L. Jackson, who was a former Black Panther. The mission of the Black Guerilla Family is to eradicate racism, maintain dignity in prison and also to overthrow the United States Government and are the most politically oriented of the prison gangs. They are bi This gang hates government and authority figures and was formed as a revolutionary organization, and this fact makes them a threat to the correctional officers.
