Introduction This report is an exploration of the dynamics of an SME. Small and Medium Enterprises are larger than typical sole proprietorship businesses but smaller in scale than corporations (Carpio, 2011). It follows the discovery and analysis of opportunities for growth using tried and tested tools and recommends the best paths to be taken for a given organization. There is an outlining of the different options for funding available to a company and what their implications are. It is also concerned with pointing out the best alternative among them. The report includes a business plan complete with a vision and mission statement and cash flow plans for 12 months. Finally, the report goes through the various exit options and succession paths that can be taken for small businesses and explains their pros and cons.
