Comparison/ Contrast Literary Analysis OutlineThesis Statement: “The Bean Trees”by Barbara Kingsolver and “Pigs in Heaven”by Barbara Kingsolver, they both use conflict, setting, and foreshadowing, to show how family and friends support is extremely important to people. Also, they show that everyone should be treated equally, no one is different. It shows the importance of family and the support they give us, as well as, the need from our community to be there for us as our emotional support systems when us teens are facing hardships and don’t know where to go or do about a situation. And also the other theme is equality, women should always be treated the same as men. We can do everything they can too. I. Main Idea for 1stBody Paragraph (conflict)A. She also tries to understand the difficulty of leaving her country to be with another family and how things will either go for the best or for the worst.
