ROMEO AND JULIET ESSAY OUTLINE Introduction Paragraph Broad Grabber (no rhetorical questions/definitions): Two young lovers struck love at first sight. They connected instantly and are slowly falling to their own demise. Their is someone responsible for both their fate so far and there is only one person to blame. Title of Work(s) and Author(s): Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespear Short Summary (1-2 sentences for book(s)) Mercutio and Benvolio are on the Capulet property and get into a quarrel with the capulet Tybalt. Mercutio dies to the hands of Mercutio and curses both the montague house and the Capulet house. Romeo goes on a angry and heartbroken rampage and kills Tybalt for taking Mercutio's life which ends with Romeo being banned from Verona for Life never being able to see Juliet Ever again. While Juliet is being forced by her father to marry Paris. Thesis Statement: Romeo and Juliet are two lovers whose fate right now isn’t going so well. They are both on the risk of never seeing each other ever again. The person to blame is Romeo, he caused everything to trigger and happen. Body Paragraph #1 Topic Sentence: Romeo antagonized Mercutio to fight Tybalt. Set Up Quote : Tybalt was being unreasonable with Romeo calling him a villain and Romeo was basically surrendering to Tybalt now that he was married to his cousin but this made Mercutio even more agitated that he was surrendering.
