In order to best understand the topic some good sources to use would be things like news articles from the time, journals or diary entries from people in that time, and possibly some transcripts or info from things like the Seneca Falls Convention. Some good search terms could be: Women's Rights Movement Social Impact And Women's Suffrage Economic Impact and Women's Suffrage Seneca Falls Convention Susan B Anthony and Women's Suffrage Week 3 Short Responses – Question 2 Congress held its final vote to approve the Nineteenth Amendment on June 4, 1919. Was this a necessary or a contributory cause of the success of the woman suffrage movement? The final vote for the nineteenth amendment was a necessary cause for woman's suffrage movement because the vote was the final definitive decision for women's right to vote at the time. If the vote did not take place or was not passed, women's right to vote could have been delayed for any amount of time. Week 3 Short Responses – Question 3 The National American Woman Suffrage Association supported the U.S. decision to enter World War I and publicly encouraged women to support the war effort. Was this a necessary or a contributory cause of the success of the woman suffrage movement? This was a Contributory cause towards the woman suffrage movement because it did help lead towards rights for women but unlike congress voting on the nineteenth amendment this didn't make any definitive changes to the woman suffrage movement it only helped contribute to the overall movement.
