Causes Dehydration, trauma, burns, loss of intravascular volume, vasodilation d/t neurogenic shock, anaphylactic shock, septic shock, vomiting, diarrhea, NG suction, diuretics, Myocardial infarction, irregular rate or rhythm, or cardiomyopat hy caused by anything that disrupts the transmission of an impulse to the hypothalamus, the sympathetic vasomotor center in the brain, or anything that blocks the outflow of the sympathetic foods including eggs and milk, shellfish, peanuts, chocolate, strawberries and tomatoes; food additives; diagnostic agents, such as iodine; blood, gamma globulin; vaccines and
