My experience on career day was good and helpful. My opinion on career day is that it is very beneficial to students especially upper class men. I think it benefits students since they can look into careers that they think they would like to do in their future or would be interested in. I am most interested in nursing out of the presentations I saw on career day. In order to become a nurse I will have to get an associates degree or a degree from a community college. You have to be fast paced and able to stay on your feet, you have to be fast thinking and good at managing time. In high school I should take anatomy, biology, chemistry, and any maths I can take will help. The salary range for a nurse is around $65-$70 thousand a year. The job outlook is always increasing, I would be likely to get a job in nursing since it is always needed. The setting

I could job shadow at Hershey medical center. The salary range for a nurse is around $65-$70 thousand a year. The hours can depend, when you are a new nurse they will put you on more night shifts and holidays but as you are longer a nurse you get more normal hours, shifts will depend on how long and how many days you want, you get around 36 hours a week. Travel will depend on where you live, but you are not able to work from home. The presentations I saw on career day didn’t drastically change my thinking about my future, it made me realize that I wanna be a nurse more than I did before. I think in the future we should try to have more jobs to look at....
