Close Read - Shakespeare’s “Sonnet 73”
You will analyze Shakespeare’s sonnets to identify the rhyme schemes, iambic pentameter, imagery, figurative
language, and themes.
Using the Annotation Key below, analyze “Sonnet 73. Be sure to identify all components required, as well as
annotate specific responses when required to do so.
