Katelyn BrayWintergirlsLia’s relationship with her father is that she is not very close with him. He is always busy with work or going out somewhere because he is very involved with work and even knows the president. When her parents split up and Lia is let out of New Seasons, she moves in with her father and stepmom named Jennifer, along with step sister Emma. Lia knows that whenever he comes to talk to her, she pretends to be asleep because she doesn’t want to talk. Her father is trying to be close with her and tries to be able to talk to her but lia refuses it and ignores it. She says that he they will sit down and have a talk, but she knows it won’t happen. Lia is trying to control the relationship by not letting her father in and trying to be there for her when she needs it the most. He knows she is going through a hard time, but lia won’t let him be apart of her life. Before her parents got divorced, she was close to her family and always had family meals together, but once they split everything had changed and the relationship had changed as well.
