The exam consists ofPart 1: (1 minute)the examiner asks you an introductory question on a theme relatedto the topic in part 2. You may ask to have the question repeated or ask for explanation of items of vocabulary from the question. You are expected to respond spontaneously to the question, and expand your answer if you can.Part 2: (4-5 minutes including 2 minutes preparation) you are given a task card containing a statement of opinion on a topic of general interest, e.g. social networking sites. There are three/four suggested sub-themes related to the statement, and a question inviting you to agree or disagree with the statement. You can choose to speak about the suggested sub-themes or not. You will not lose marks if you do not speak about any/all of the sub-themes, but you must speak about the statement of opinion specifically, not just the topic. You have 2 minutes to prepare for the talk and during this time you may make notes, and ask the examiner to explain items of vocabulary from the task card. You are expected to speak for at
