COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course will examine aspects of financial management for publicly held corporations. Special emphasis is placed on Free Cash Flow (FCF), Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC), and Net Present Value (NPV). METHODOLOGY: Teaching methods will include lecture and group discussions, question and answer sessions, student presentations, and participation in ongoing discussions. COURSE OBJECTIVES: To analyze the major issues that financial executives must understand to lead a successful organization ASSESSMENTS: Class Participation (individual effort) 10% (Note: Attendance does not equal participation) Midterm Exam 30% Final Exam 30% Individual project 30%
