Compare and contrast one duty and one responsibility of citizens. Remember a duty is required by law and a responsibility is nice to do. Also, describe how does it impact our lives when we do or do not perform those duties/responsibilities. Duties and responsibilities are both things our government asks us to do. The difference is that duties are required while responsibilities are suggestions. For example one duty is to pay taxes and one responsibility is to vote. They are similar because they both assist

When we choose to not perform our duties there are consequences we have to deal with. These consequences could range from fines to jail time depending on the duty that we didn't complete.
