Welcome! Welcome to MAN 4504 – Operations and Supply Chain Management! In this course you will learn and utilize critical thinking and decision making skills, which are essential for all business disciplines. I look forward to an exciting and purposeful semester. Course Description This course provides an introduction to the integration of operations and supply chain management that enables organizations to compete successfully in the global marketplace. This course also studies the problems of "operations" in all types of enterprises in both the public and private sectors. 2 quantitative tools for planning and design of systems and processes as well as on the application of various decision science methodologies to situations involving problems. III. Course Prerequisites/Minimum Technical Skills & Technology Requirements QMB 2100 with a minimum grade of C- or STA 2023 with a minimum grade of C- or STA 2122 with a minimum grade of C- In order to take this course online at USF, you will need to be able to demonstrate proficiency at basic computer skills, maintain reliable internet access, and meet the computer system requirements listed here: - requirements.aspx In addition you need to have a camera for being able to take online proctored Exams using the Proctorio system as described in this syllabus. Basic EXCEL knowledge is an advantage for our course and I encourage you to use EXCEL in your homework assignments. IV. Course Purpose This course is a core course for all business majors. The course is designed to equip you with essential critical thinking and decision making skills you will rely on and use in your daily lives and careers.
