If you were assigned to work a year in one of the following types of teams and had to choose only one, which would it be and why? (a) functional team, (b) cross-functional team, (c) self-managed team, (d) shared-leadership team, and (e) multiteam systems(MTSs) If I were assigned to work for one year I would prefer to work with a functional team. This is the traditional team that I am used to working with. It is structured to ensure that everyone on the team is moving in the right direction and working towards the same shared goal. This type of setting would allow people within the same specialty work side by side to others with similar roles. I do also believe that it depends on the position to which team structure works best.
