The Use of Spreadsheets The audience being targeted are general managers and supervisors. Their level of expertise is managing the business and informing the employees on how to run a day to day office job smoothly. What is already known and is expected from each employee to do is knowing how to operate a computer and/or smart phone to be able to make Microsoft spreadsheets by using the program Excel. The level of content will be formal language as it is targeted to proficient readers. What is being compared is the day to day outcome of each employee making a spreadsheet and how legible and concise it is to the general population. It needs to be known whether the spreadsheets are clear to the average customer without bringing any sort of confusion. What will be used to understand and grade whether they are or are not clear to the average customer; a grading scale based on each part of the spreadsheet. There will be five things that will be graded: graphs, tables, equations, numbers, and length. The audience will be interested in this report due to how in-depth it will be and
