Visual Analysis of Photo Name: Tess Phillips /15 points View the attached images and select one to analyze, then answer the questions below. Clearly indicate the sources you use in each response. What does Stern mean by "describing" a photograph? What do you think is the most important aspect of this photograph to describe? Why? What Stern means by “describing” a paragraph, he’s saying, to look at the color, grayscale, or areas of each (Stern, 2011). I think the most important aspect of this photograph to describe is the color. The reason I say color is because when you look at the photograph, you see the color of the solder’s uniforms, the colors of the bags behind them and the color of the light that shines through the holes in the gray metal door. 2. What does Stern believe is important to discuss regarding “emotional impact”? What do you think the emotional impact of this image is?
