Daniela Cortes Mr.Brown Themes in Lit 21 March 2019 Fairy Tail volume 20 Synopsis The graphic novel I choose was the Fairy Tail manga. The author of the manga is Hiro Mashima. This novel is about a guild named Fairy Tail and all the members in that guild which are wizards. The main characters Lucy Heartfilia went on a trip and met a boy with his cat, and their names are Natsu Dragneel and Happy. She becomes friends with them and he helps her join the guild he is in which is one of the strongest guilds in the country and it is called Fairy Tail. After she joins she starts to go on adventures with him. Overall I really enjoyed this graphic novel. The Art The art in the graphic novel is very understandable. You can tell when the character is mad, sad, happy, etc. The author did a great job in drawing their emotions. You can actually tell what they are feeling just by looking at the pictures. The colors the author used were black and white, but the cover is in color which I think gives life to the cover and it gives the characters personality. The Plot

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
