Jack Schumer Kinesiology Personal Interest Paper Intro Paper There are multiple reasons as to why I wanted to take this class. I am interested in the human body and wanted to know how it operates and moves because I might be interested in a future career in sports medicine or physical therapy. I also heard from students who previously took the class that it is fun and interesting and they recommended that I take it. There are a few topics that interest me and that I am excited for. One of them being the first topic of basic human anatomy. I am excited for this topic because I have always found the human body interesting and there’s a lot of interesting things to learn about it. The second topic I am excited for is learning the medical terms of location. I have always been confused when doctors or medical staff have used these long and complicated words to describe something

So hopefully that topic will help me to understand the terms better and so I can understand what doctors are talking about in the future. The last topic I am excited for is the basic athletic training and sports medicine principles. This topic will hopefully allow me to learn how to help athletes train and keep them healthy so that I can maybe know that in the future to help me or a teammate. As stated before, I would like to maybe pursue a career in sports medicine, athletic training, or physical therapy. So I’m hoping this class can help me to keep my interest in this kind of field so I am able to pick a career in the future. It can also help to figure out what I want to study in college because as of right now, I am unsure of what I want to study or where I would like to go....
