Percy Jackson 1. Call to Adventure: Percy discovers his “second life” by being attacked by a fury and having his best friend turn into a satyr and protect him. 2. Refusal of Call: Percy didn’t refuse his call, but he was more forced to follow it when the minotaur took his mom and attacked them. 3. Supernatural aid: Grover turns was sent to protect Percy and reveals he is a satyr to defeat the fury sent to kill Percy. On their way to the camp, they are attacked by a minotaur and are aided by the Gray sisters (blind witches). 4. Crossing the First Threshold: Percy literally crosses over the magical barrier into camp Half Blood from the mortal world. 5. Road of Trials: Percy goes on a quest and faces many challenges like Medusa, the lair of the Lotus Eaters, and Hades. 6. Temptation: During the time in the Lair of the Lotus Eaters, Percy and his companions are tricked into eating a special flower that makes them want to stay there and forget about the quest.
