Name Chelsea Tsasse Course: Christian worldview Date: November 3, 2019Instructor: Professor Amanda Jenkins Benchmark - Gospel EssentialsIn Christianity, God is the eternal being who created mankind. He is a not a creator or someone who simply “creates,” he is the creator, because “through him all things were made; and without him nothing was that has been made” (John 1:3). Jesus Christ is the sole reason whywe are alive. In the beginning God created the heavens, the earth, the humans and the amoebas. We must devote our life to him by following him and loving him. As Christians, should live our lives by following him and trying not to sin. Our lord and savior Jesus Christ, died on the cross, and accepted the sin of man against himself. As a perfectly innocent man, he accepted the injustices of man against man. Since Jesus died for us and our sins, we owe him to live our lives to the fullest. We must strive to do all that we can do to be good Christians. Humanity, God, Jesus and The Restoration will show us how to discover and take pride in our worldview. GodThe Bible specifically tells us God created the universe and all the people in it “So, God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1: 27). It took God six days to create all of mankind. “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning- the sixth day” (Genesis 1:31). As human, we live in a three-dimensional world. A person can act like someone else, or even look like someone else. But no person can actually be the same as another 1

person. “God, however, lives without the limitations of a three- dimensional universe. He is spiritand he is infinitely more complex than we are.” (Velarde, Robert) Which is why Jesus the son can be different from the Father. And yet the same. In the bible, it clearly speaks of God the Son, God the Father, and God the Holy spirit. But emphasizes that there is only one God. The bible reveals to us that God is yet three “persons” who have the same essence of deity. For all eternity,
