A Day in the Life of A Teacher I see all three levels of government present in the teachers live because as a teacher the federal government oversees nations education system, the state government partially funds schools, and the local government pays the teacher. I also see government involvement at the federal level in the life of the teacher when she listens to the radio, because the Federal Communication Commissions (FFC)‒a federal agency directed by the Congress‒regulates broadcast stations, including the radio. Another instance where government involvement is present in the teachers life is when she is on I-95. It is the Federal Highway Administration’s responsibility to set design standards to ensure the highway is safe. The local government is represented when the teacher watches the baseball game at the stadium because it is maintained by Prince William County. When the teacher is stopped by the highway patrol officer, the state government is represented because most officers on the highway are state troopers.
