I selected the law information for the public website since I found that it rich in medical malpractice information that nurses should always be aware of. The website provides a background of medical malpractice committed by most medical professionals that we need to be aware of to avoid committing such injuries while undertaking our duties. 2. What is the main point(s) the author is trying to get across to the reader? First, the website tries to let the reader aware of the elements of medical malpractice claim including there being a duty owed to someone, a breach of that duty and the breach of that duty must be resulting in harm or damage that is approximately caused by that specific breach. The reader is being informed that the proximate cause of medical malpractice results from investigation of the alleged negligence (Medical Malpractice: Background, n.d.). Additionally, the site informs the reader the practice of medical professionals are judged
