Is Digital Journalism an Oxymoron*? * Oxymoron (def): “A combination of contradictory or incongruous words.” Every technological change creates early adaptors and early resisters. News as “profit centre”, not as a service. Digital can also be “neo-liberal”. FAANG (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google) are “information monopolies.”
