1 ANNEXURE -II 1. Amendment to Ordinance VIII (2) of the Ordinances of the University related to span period for the under-graduate courses under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). (Page No.335 of the University Calendar Volume I (2004) (E.C. 14.07.2015). Add the following to Ordinance VIII (2): Ordinance VIII (2) (1-3) x x x x x x x x (4) For all the students obtaining admissions under the Three Year Under-graduate Programme under CBCS starting 2015-16, the span period to complete the course will be 6 years from the year of admission in the first semester, irrespective of the different courses provided the student has completed all requirements to become eligible for appearing in the University Examinations as per rules. 2. Amendments to Ordinance IX of the Ordinances of the University related to the pass percentage and promotion criteria for the under-graduate courses under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). All other relevant Ordinances shall stand amended accordingly. (Page No. 346 of the University Calendar Volume I (2004)) (E.C. 14.07.2015). Add the following to Ordinance IX: Ordinance IX (1-11) x x x x x x x x 12. Pass Percentage and Promotion Rules for All the Under-Graduate Courses under Choice Based Credit System . The following provisions shall be applicable to students admitted to the Three Year Under- graduate programme under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS): 12 (1) (a) A student who appears in an odd semester examinations or who was eligible to appear in the odd semester examinations but remains absent in any or all the papers of the said semester, shall move on to the next even semester irrespective of his/her result in the said examinations.
