Q1 Response Does Shakespeare represent the emotions of the characters and the consequences of their actions in a realistic way, or does he recklessly romanticize their actions and emotions? Yes, Shakspeare did represent the characters’ emotions and actions correctly. Romeo and Juliet took very drastic and stupid actions unlike any actions of normal teenagers. Juliet on one side: fell in love with one of her family’s enemies, Romeo (Act 1, Scene 5)(Act 2, Scene 6) action Married him the next day(Act 2, Scene 6) she finds out that Romeo is banished on her wedding day (Act 3, Scene 2) consequence she is forced to marry Paris (Act 3, Scene 5)
