Experiment 2 Postlab (50 points) This semester, all of your postlabs will be writing assignments, but only one will be a full laboratory report. For the dye kinetics exploration, your postlab assignment is to write the following report sections: Introduction, Results/Data Analysis, and References. Some things to keep in mind: 1. The results part of the Results/Data Analysis section should include the raw data from Logger Pro. These will largely take the form of plots (Abs. vs. lambda, Abs. vs. concentration, Abs. vs. time, etc.). Your plots should include any basic analysis done in Logger Pro, such as finding the slope of the linear portion of a curve, or manipulated plots where you changed what variables appear on each axis. You can also talk about any results that come directly from reading a plot (such as identifying lambda max). 2. The data analysis part of your Results/Data Analysis section is where you take the results and show how they can lead to the variables you sought in this experiment (extinction coefficient, rate order of dye, rate order of base, rate constant).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
