ANS:Network Access Control is a computer networking solution that uses a set of products to define and implement a policy that describes how to secure access to network nodes by device when they initially attempt to access the internet.Q.5.2. what is an EAP? ANS:Extensible Authentication Protocol provides a set of protocol message, encapsulate various authentication methods to used between a clients and an authentication server, it acts as a framework for network access and authentication protocol. Q.5.3. List and briefly define four EAP authentication methods. ANS:EAP Transport layer security: - It uses handshake protocol in TLS. Clients and server authenticate with each other using digital certificate. Client and server use same pre-master key to generate the same secret key. EAP Tunnelled TLs; - It works like EAP-TLS except that only server has to authenticate the certificate to the client first. EAP GPSK (EAP Generalized Pre-Shared Key) :- It specifies the method based on the pre-shared key and generate secret key based on cryptographic algorithm.
