Alyssa Nunez Concert Report #2 First of all, what a night. I was originally planning to go to Beethoven’s Fifth but I checked online and saw that it sold out pretty fast so I went straight to my second option - to go watch the University of Texas Jazz Orchestra. I bought my ticket online for $14 AND to make things more annoying I had to park in a parking garage that was far away with dumb parking fees by the hour. Do they think I’m rich? Just kidding, I really didn’t mind. By the time I sat down and saw how many people were there, I realized there had been a jazz festival happening all day with different high schools performing and they all stayed to watch the UT jazz orchestra finish off the festival. It was pretty neat how the first few songs they performed were actually composed or arranged by one of the students themselves. The first song, Brumal, was your everyday jazz piece basically. It was the kind of calming music you’d hear in an elevator but nothing too extravagant. The next song called
