Introduction (4 points)Discuss what you did in this lab and what you will cover in the lab report.Provide some background information on the main idea in this lab and discuss the purpose of the lab activity.In this week’s lab I will be configuring and verifying EIGRP in a single AS module, by utilizing the Skill Soft virtual lab in week 6 as assigned. Exercise 1 will be configuring EIGRP, Exercise 2 will be load balancing, and exercise 3 will be additional EIGRP configuration options. The purpose of the lab is to perform the exercises by following the directions along with viewing and understanding the detailed lab diagram below that fully explains the topology of the network where the exercises are being performed on. Network Diagram Lab Week 6 Procedure (10 points)The process of performing the procedure in the virtual lab on Skill Soft will be working with the followingequipment. NYEDGE1, NYEDGE2, NYWAN1, NYCORE1, and NYCORE2. All the equipment must be powered up and the exercises will determine in detail which one will be used first. Exercise 1 will be configuring EIGRP by using NYEDGE1 first. First, I configured EIGRP on the NYEDGE routers. 3

Exercise 2 will be Load Balancing by starting with NYWAN1 by using the show ip route eigrp. This step was involved to give the view in detail of the routing table. Exercise 3 - Additional EIGRP configuration optionsIn this exercise I will performing the variance commands on how to further balance different bandwidths. 4

Results (10 points)Discuss your findings here.Exercise 1 Configuring EIGRPNYEDGE1 has an adjacency with NYEDGE2 and NYWAN1, and the interface the adjacency has formed. The above screen shot is the show ip route command and shows how the routes have been learnt. Show ip protocols shows the EIGRP interfaces it is running on. 5

In the final screen shot it shows that the router has joined 224.0.0.10, the EIGRP multicast address.Exercise 2 Load BalancingThis helped me to understand after the shutdown command on NYWAN1 to see what feasible succors are and how they go into play with the metrics. There were a whole lot of tedious commands that once again prove the point that attention to details and human error can play a great part in this lab. Exercise 3 - Additional EIGRP configuration optionsThe results are I advertised out a number of networks across different routers. I observed how modifyingbandwidths influences EIGRP routes. I observed load-balancing and how-to fine tune this using the variance command. I also turned on and off auto-summary to see how this impacts routes downstream.
