Prologue; The Prophecy Many years ago, in a kingdom far away, there was a prophet by the name of Matthael who told of one from the Drosselmiher family, -a leader in training- who would travel to many worlds in search of their purpose. This individual would spread a special kind of magic wherever they went, just as they were, without façade. They would be the one to save a kingdom from ruins seemingly beyond repair, and receive honor for their service. The individual would not know that they were a part of the prophecy until it was fulfilled, and they took their rightful place as the protector of the innocent, who was said to currently be on an island surrounded by a sea of perilous storms to secure that only the pure and noble of heart were worthy to ask for their assistance. They would face many different situations in their quest, and gain many friendships along the way. The truest heart only could pass the test, by relying on the gifts they were given by an unknown being. The Drosselmiher family was separated into three clan-like groups, and each group was under the leadership of one of three siblings. Every generation, the leader who had three children would make arrangements for two of the children to study under his or her siblings and keep one at home to study under them. This preserved the balance between the clans, by having leaders with a blood bond they kept peace within the family. Many centuries had passed, and the prophecy had yet to be fulfilled, until a generation of siblings came along displaying qualities that were expected of the one foretold; and everything in the Drosselmiher family started to change forever. The dark day was soon coming that would start the prophecy, and the Drosselmiher family would soon take a blow to their bonds. The kingdom in ruins would soon fall into despair, till the awaited one should appear and lift their spirits and land out of misery.

From the desk of Monsieur Gaelyn Head of the -----Drosselmiher House My dear brother Marcus, It is time for us to begin training our heirs, as the prophecy will soon take place. The arrangements we made previously were for Thomas to be under you, Clara to train under Elizabeth, and Albrecht to come train under me. I dislike for my letters to be so somber and sullen, but this matter is of utmost importance and I know you understand the urgency. I wish there were more to the prophecy than there is, but the simple fact is that we will have to do without as many details as we would like. I’m sure that whichever of your children fulfil the prophecy will be fully equipped in the manner they will be required. I have no doubt that in the beginning they will compete in a way, to show which one of them will really fulfill it; for they all have the initial potential. I feel that a key reason for whomever to be able to fulfil the prophecy, will be the way they are taught to assess any number of situations. I also feel that to be fair, we must not discuss between us what manner
