The article states he was introduced to the love of writing when he was a young boy learning the history and how to read in school. Poetry Foundation describes Lord Byron’s personality and how that was reflected in his poems. The article states his personality was often shown in satire, lyric, historical tragedy, monologue, and epics. The article was written by the Poetry Foundation, which was established in 2003 and has information on many different poets. This website also has references available to the reader to offer more insightintothe poet. The foundation has also won many awards including the ‘Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize’ which awarded the foundation over $100,000. His father ran away to Franceas an exile from England where he died in 1791 (Poetry Foundation).4.Lord Byron was born with a clubfoot which is the twisting of the foot at birth (Poetry Foundation).5.From his Presbyterian nurse, Byron developed a lifelong love for the Bible and a fascination with the Calvinist doctrines (Poetry Foundation).6.1798 his great-uncle, the “Wicked” fifth Lord Byron had died, George became the sixth Baron Byron of Rochdale (Poetry Foundation).7.He fell in love with his cousin Margret Parker in 1800 that inspired his “first dash to poetry” (Poetry Foundation).8.Early in 1804, he began a relationship with his half-sister, Augusta. He asked that she consider him “not only as a brother” but as her “warmest and most affectionate friend” (Poetry Foundation).9.While attending Harrow School from 1801 to 1805 he formed relationships with younger boys. This would later show he had bisexual tendencies. But his relationship with womenseemed to fill his emotional needs (Poetry Foundation).10. He fell in love with Mary Chaworth, he dropped out of Harrow School to be near her (Poetry Foundation).11. Byron attended Trinity College, Cambridge where he piled up extreme debt.
