R.A.F.T Lawyer Good morning Judge Banks, jury and the people of Ontario, my name is Aleksa Babic and I am the lawyer representing the case of the attacks and crimes committed from the zebra mussels and sea lamprey. Both of these sea creatures are a huge threat to the Great Lakes and humans. This is a tragedy we cannot take easily before it is too late. Many fish and resources are dead or extinct because of these findings. If it’s okay with you Judge Banks, I would like to separate these to creatures and talk about them one at a time, starting with the sea lampreys and then following with the zebra mussels. The reason I would like to do this, is because I would like to show how big of a problem this is and the true meaning of a horrifying situation (Judge Banks approves). So without further ado let’s get to it and find a way to end this. These sea lamprey creatures are deadly and are everywhere in the Great Lakes. The most known and the most populated place for sea lamprey in the Great Lakes is Lake Huron. Sea lamprey is an eel-like type of fish which are jawless. Sea lampreys can reach 12 to 20 inches in length and 8 to 13 pounds in weight. The way these fish catch their prey is horrifying, sea lampreys attach on to other fish with its suction cup mouth and drink the fish’s fluids and stomach contents. Sea lampreys have had an enormous and negative impact on the Great Lakes as I will show. The sea lamprey has killed about 15 million pounds of fish in the upper Great Lakes each year. Even

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
