Our families and peer relationships teach us how to think and act”(page 120). In contrast to her is her cousin, Gadessa,(who’s actually older than her). This cousin is a single child, who so far just mumbles nonsense and can hardly ever explain what she wants. She also doesn’t know how to interact with other kids very well....
