Emmy Arias September 26, 2018 Playing volleyball for the past three years has been a fun part of my school year. It’s a part of my day that I always look forward to. Freshman year my coach saw a lot of potential in me; it was my first year playing and she placed me on the junior varsity team. I had been overfilled with joy and deep down I was really anxious wondering if I was really good enough. Freshman year wasn’t the best; we didn’t win any games and it was a bit upsetting. We didn’t want to succumb to the fact that we were losing. Sophomore year we came back determined and we finally won our first game against g.a.r and it was so exciting! We didn’t focus on the fact it was only one game; we kept ourselves motivated and determined. Junior year is finally here and we were playing against g.a.r again; we were pretty confident in winning this game. We didn’t go in thinking that we would lose; we had played all five sets and only won two of the five. We had played our best and our coach wasn’t
