This has became a debatable topic because some parents think that phone in class are a distracting, And others think its not. There Are some who argue that cell phones should not be in school,but there is strong evidence to support the claim cell phones are helpful in the classroom. One example of this evidence is cellphones can be used as a resource. They can be used for emergency purpose. Another reason is you can do silent group work by texting or using skype if the student is absent. The last reason is sometimes kids can listen to music to calm them down.
