1. Why are the men/ robots on Mercury? Does this seem like a plausible situation? The men are on Mercury to build mines, and also for a scientific expedition. This does not seem like a plausible situation for right now in our time, given that humans actually being on Mercury is deadly and we are not technologically advanced enough for something like that as of right now. 2. What do you think is the point of Asimov giving his robots names like "Robbie" and Speedy"? Maybe to establish a more realistic connection between the humans in this novel and the robots. Also, he may be attempting to indicate that they are not of any harm in these particular stories, and showing that there is no harm brought by these particular robots by naming them. 3. What may be the point of the robots calling the men "Master"? How might this also explain why the men have to ride the older robots? The main point in the robots calling the men “Master” is to show once again that the robots obey the humans and that they pose no threat in overtaking them. This also is shown through the fact
