Research is systematic inquiry that uses disciplined methods to answer questions or solve problems. The goal of research is to develop and expand knowledge (Polit & Beck, 2017). Accordingly, research projects are related to the creation of new knowledge that has been frequently operationalized as the use of knowledge typically based on a single study (Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, 2019).
