The program has brought in participants from across different backgrounds including rugby and athletics. The program is a crucial cogwheel in the leagues intention to grow overseas and will increase the pool of talent within theNFL. The opportunities that the venture presents are limitless and there is no doubt that this outgoing quest will expand international appeal in the league. Due to globalization and the natureof the NFL international pathway program the organization has had to modify its organizational communication structure to fit with its global ambitions of growing the sport. The IPP (international player pathway) has well organised mechanisms through which prospecting and subsequent drafting of the players occurs, it follows well defined structures that presents the prospective players with unique opportunities. ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEMIn 2207 the NFL international player pathway was set up with ambitions of presenting opportunities to international players to play at pro level. The program provides a risk-free incentive for teams to take on international players.
